You can only loathe something for so long until you realize bitterness skews everything and earns you nothing. In an effort to re-contextualize this month, and the music that serves as its wintery motifs, I set off to make a Christmas album of covers with my truly dear friend and musical counterpart, Steve Peplin. Learned a lot, probably kept my roommate up when recording late, haven't seen much snow, but so far this is the best December I've had in years.
